It wasn’t for
another funny flick when Hafiz Adebimpe Oyetoro, actor and popular Etisalat
Advert face, turned up recently in a school uniform in Iseyin, Oyo state.
Saka, as
Oyetoro is ppopularly known, was in the school, KOSO Community Secondary
School, Iseyin, his alma-matar, to mentor students, encourage them and give
back to the school.
The concept
was that of CSUG, an initiative of BALLYWALLS Integrated.
The actor, who
was made to wear his school uniform, attended mathematics class and marched on
the assembly ground with students symbolically. The highly elated Saka
admonished the students to be diligent resilient, prayerful, focus and
respectful to elders in all their endeavors.
He later
donated books to the students, painted some school buildings and gave a cheque
to the Dramatic Society of the school. The CSUG team visited Oyetoro’s mother
at the family compound and later visited the Aseyin of Iseyin, the traditional
ruler of Iseyin, as part of the activities. Olawale Balogun, the Managing
Director, Ballywallls integrated said actress Ayo Adesanya is next on CSUG
radar.
