Grooves Event Centre (GEC) is strategically located opposite Honda Company, along the very busy International Idiroko Road, leading to Republic of Benin. Proximity wise, GEC is a one stop spot for friends and family wishing to seek thrill, unwind and feel sights and sounds.
GEC through unique referrals of outstanding service delivery and secured environment has gained the heart of its prospective customers and maintains such values to protect the interest of each and every customer through continued excellent service.
The Impart of Grooves Event Centre on Ota and environs
Ota, having been a city with the highest number of industries in Nigeria, it is essentially necessary that the resident of the city should have a feel of establishments that are primary focused on recreational activities and entertainment.
GEC is an establishment fostering the development of Ota through the support of artistic and creative entertainment activities. In this wise, youth are driven towards capitalizing on their talents which on its part is a positive impart to the city of Ota.
The Purpose of the Event
GEC organize the Stepup Groove Dance Competition as a monthly Dance competition held every last Saturday of the month and thus with a Grand Final on the last Saturday of the year. The winner for the monthly competition goes home with winner takes all of N7000 (Seven Thousand Naira).
This Last Saturday of the year, which is the Grand Finale for Stepup Groove 2015 falls on the 26th of December 2015(Boxing Day). On this day, all winners of the monthly competition; January to November, 2015 will compete for a winner takes all N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira). To guarantee fun for the Ota Public we also included a movie premiere/Launching of ‘Fraternity’ guaranteed to bring entertainers to one spot so as to guarantee the needed fun.
The event which is titled ‘Step Up Groove Dance Competition Grand Finale & Launching of Movie (FRATERNITY)’ is primary geared and powered by GEC and supported by the above listed supporters. However, it is known that good things come with a COST. Therefore, after much deliberation by the management of GEC, N3000 (Three Thousand Naira) was agreed to be the price for the sale of a single ticket which also come with 4yards of Ankara textile material as a gift limited to the first 300 tickets as an entry to the event. Further to this, a single ticket is an automatic raffle ticket for an opportunity to win a HONDA Motorcycle in a draw.
The stage is now set for GEC to spark up the light of entertainment in Ota, Ogun State.
