WHY DO WE FAIL? (POEM)

Why Do We Fail?

The fear of failure,has become a menace to men

For as writers,we dance to the rhythm of our pen

Gradually, we work towards achieving our aim

For ourselves,we want to make a name

But yet why do we fail?

Do we fail because we are destined for failure?

Or we lack the cutting edge required in literature?

Do we fail because we put all our eggs in one basket?

And plagiarism has made our muse his casket?

Who knows the reason why we fail?

Even after putting a lot of effort;

And stepping out of the zone called comfort

Failure still follow our shadows around

And it keeps screaming our names aloud

The question is; why do we fail?

Failure has imbibed us like a glass of water

So we end up failing no matter how hard we try

Now,the eyes has started to cry

Because our hopes are shoved in the gutter

Why exactly do we fail?

Who do we blame for our failure?

God or the economy?

For if we blame the economy; indirectly we blame the government

Because the government created the economy

Or should we blame God?

For creating failure amongst men-

While others need just work a bit

They flourish like the ocean

But even with excess hard work and prayers

Some lives in the street of failure

I wish I know the reason why we fail
