Following the principle of GIVING IS LIVING, Women of Destiny from Christ The Hope of Glory Church donated gift items to new born babies in Public Hospitals.
The women visited more than 5 Primary Health Centres within Ijoko, Sango and Ota including the State Hospital in Ota. The team equally stopped by at Ijamido Children's Home to donate gift items to the Orphanage Home.
According to the Coordinator of the Group, Atinuke Onyesom, "We have been planning this programme for some months now and the plan is to visit Public Hospitals in Ota and present at least 50 newborn babies gifts and equally pray them" she said.
In an exclusive chat with our correspondent, the Pastor in Charge of the Church, Apostle Moses Ohuneniese expressed gratitude to God for enabling his church to play a humanitarian role in the society where they exist. "This gesture and many more humanitarian activities is what I have always loved to do while I was still serving in my former ministry. I am glad that I could now do them now that I run my own ministry" he said. Apostle Moses believed that Giving should be part of the core activities of the church and not just receiving from members.
Christ The Hope of Glory Church is situated in Ijoko-Sango Ota. The Church is barely two years old but it's famous for giving to the needy.
