Question: Shall we meet you and tell us your
sojourn into the entertainment world?
Answer: My name
is Rotimi Omotunwase, and I am a father of two lovely daughters, an art enthusiast,
and a true gentleman.
Despite my background in the IT industry, I have always had a passion for movies s
ince I was a child. In 2009, when I decided to do something other than IT, I found myself setting up a digital agency business called Fusionplus TV, which was responsible for launching the first LIVE STREAM TV channel in the UK in 2014, with our live studio in Canning Town, Royal Docklands, London. If you must know, we pioneered the red carpet culture in the United Kingdom by interviewing celebrities on red carpets. I recently decided to return to school, the plan was to study law, but because of the passion for the industry, I ended up settling for media production and communications. Last year, I fell back in love with the entertainment industry and decided to contact some of my industry friends to see what we could come up with, which eventually gave birth to this incredible film “Bade”.
Question: Talking about ‘Bade…the Reunion”, your new product, tell us about it.
Answer: As
previously stated, I spoke with Femi Bolorunde and Daniel Ademinokan separately
one evening, discussing some of our individual contributions to the Nigerian
entertainment industry... The love of art that I saw emanating from these
people's hearts prompted me to conclude that it is past time for us to act.
Question: why this story?
Answer: I
was talking with Femi Bolorunde, about an idea I was trying to incorporate into
my OTT website to help movie producers who can't premiere their films in BIG
cinemas use our platform for an Online premiering before releasing the videos,
which we do almost every day. I suddenly pursed because I was reading something
that had occurred in one of the WhatsApp groups to which I belong. When I told
him what had happened and what had caused the sudden distraction, he
immediately said that a similar thing had happened to one of his friend, and I
suggested that we make a movie about it... And here we're today.
Question: Is the
movie out in the market?
Answer: It will
first be available on Fusionplus Online TV on December 1-5, 2021. Which you
can, of course, you can watch on any of your devices, including mobile, tablet,
and PC.
Question: Who are those that featured in the movie?
Answer: So many
talented individuals, such as, Rykado Agbor, Segun Arinze, Dayo Amusa, Niyi Raphael
and many more. It’s an assemblage of good actors that fits the characters
naturally. Ably produced and directed by my good friend, Olufemi Bolorunde
Question: Let’s talk about
Fusionplus TV, what is it all about?
Answer: What
are we about? Hmmmm! We are a basically an Over The Top (OTT) platform
gradually finding our feet in the streaming industry again with the advent of
Netflix and Amazon Prime. Our aim is to provide live and on-demand online

of running a streaming platform like yours?

followed by the difficulty of licencing content.
